On June 3rd, Interplasp had the honor of participating as a sponsor in the EUROPUR & EURO-MOULDERS Annual Conference 2025, held in Benidorm.
A key event in the flexible polyurethane sector, bringing together more than 160 companies and 550 professionals from across Europe.
The EUROPUR & EURO-MOULDERS Annual Conference is one of the most important events on the European calendar for the flexible polyurethane industry. Organised by EUROPUR, the association representing the leading manufacturers in the sector across Europe, this multi-day event is held each year in a different country, hosted by one of its member companies.
This year, Interplasp had the privilege of being the host company, welcoming and sponsoring a gathering focused on knowledge exchange, collaboration between companies, and the joint advancement of the industry.
The conference took place at the Meliá Villaitana Hotel in Benidorm and concluded with a gala dinner organised by Interplasp, a fitting finale to several days marked by dialogue, innovation, and shared expertise.
Looking Ahead to the Future of the Sector
As part of Sheela Foam, Interplasp actively took part in sessions focused on politics, sustainability, and the transformation of the industry. A highlight was the keynote by Georg Riekeles, from the European Policy Centre, who offered a clear perspective on the geopolitical context. The day continued with panels on trends, circularity, and the key role of the Iberian market.
Celebrating Also Means Sharing Who We Are
Beyond the technical content, Interplasp wanted to bring an emotional layer to the event. Taking the opportunity to celebrate our 50-year journey, we created two symbolic spaces that reflected both our history and our current identity.
One space was inspired by Indian culture, in tribute to our parent company, Sheela Foam, and its roots. The other had a warm, Mediterranean atmosphere, which culminated in a live flamenco performance during the gala dinner.
A way to share who we are: a committed team, with strong roots and an international vision.
